One of my resolutions for 2008.

I noticed that since I dropped literature as a major I haven’t been reading nearly as many books as I used to (as obvious as that might seem). In an attempt to rectify this, I resolve to read – at the very least – ten new books for 2008. Cover to cover. Books for school that I probably won’t read entirely won’t count.

    1. The Dark Tower VI: Song of Susannah (2004), Stephen King
    2. Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman (2006), Haruki Murakami
    3. Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World (1991), Haruki Murakami
    4. The Simple Art of Murder (1950), Raymond Chandler
    5. Soon I Will Be Invincible (2007), Austin Grossman
    6. Monkey (1942), Wu Cheng’En and Arthur Waley (tr)
    7. Serve the People! (2007), Yan Lianke
    8. Out (2004), Natsuo Kirino
    9. South of the Border, West of the Sun (2000), Haruki Murakami
    10. Hellboy #1: Seed of Destruction (2003), Mike Mignola and John Byrne
    11. The Dark Tower VII: The Dark Tower (2004), Stephen King
    12. Fragile Things: Short Fictions and Wonders (2006), Neil Gaiman
    13. What I Talk About When I Talk About Running (2008), Haruki Murakami
    14. Fahrenheit 451 (1953), Ray Bradbury
    15. The Andromeda Strain (1969), Michael Crichton
    16. The Dark Tower: The Long Road Home (2008), Robin Furth/Peter David/Jae Lee/Richard Isanove
