I had to get a spine X ray before starting chiropractic treatment. I have some problems in my neck and lower back. It was interesting to look at the bone spurs & calcium deposits in my neck (impending arthritis), some wierd sideways curvature in the upper thoracic between my shoulder blades and one vertebra in my lower back (L4 or L5?) that is turned about 1/4 out of rotation with the rest of my spine (I think that was from falling off a horse in my early 30s). You only think you’re standing up straight…really you are just a wobbly stack of blocks.

It was interesting, anyway. I don’t know if I’ll get an ‘after’ shot once my treatment is done. That’d be cool, though.

PS: I’ve seen my intestines, too. But that story isn’t nearly as cool…



I saw this in someone else's list and it reminded me of something. 6 months ago

It reminded me of a conversation that I had with a (slightly inebriated) friend. It went something like this:

Friend: You know what I realized the other day?
Me: What’s that?
Friend: I own a skeleton.

So now, almost every conversation with said friend is in third-person-skeleton. For example, “What’s your skeleton doing tonight?” “Has your skeleton had lunch yet?” “Hey, come meet our skeletons at _.”

After all of this skeleton talk, I want to see mine.

well my boyfriend grabbed my hipbone..so that’s a start because he used to grab fat..but i weigh 164..i am so fat..i read this entries and everyone is like i wiegh 130 and i am huge..wat the hell..wat am i a COW!!!!!

i so badly want to see my hip and rib bones! 23 months ago

im determined to do it by the 6 weeks holiday anyway!
that means more exercise, less food!
im 5’ ish and 140lbs!!! that is fat!
and i want to be around 80-90 which i think is ok for my height!
so even if im cold or tierd i still have to exercise before bed and i might bump it up to two exercise ‘sessions’ a day and see when i can get down the gym!
Think thin…no more fat!!!
