About six years ago I went to an open house for a loft for rent in Long Beach. ( A real factory conversion.) It had 24’ walls and 3 landings with a patio on the roof featuring a great view. Exposed brick and ventilation tubing, the whole shebang. It was awesome and $1100 a month. (Back then I could afford it.) But unfortunately for me I was competing with others who had better credit ratings than I did, so it was a no-go. But I still aspire to it sometime before I buy my beach house.

I’ve always wanted an apartment on the top floor of a building (with 5+stories) where one side of it is a great view of the ocean, and the other side is a great view of the city so at night i can look at the city lights.
