find new (good) TV shows

All 18 of them. I just finished the entire season 2 of Kyle XY. I love that show, even if I’m probably nowhere near their target audience age-wise.. :p

Gonna start catching Reaper next week. And I have first episodes of My Boys, Miss Guided and Pretty Handsome. And Weeds is back, finally! Doesn’t look like Mrs Botwin is going legit anytime soon.. ;)

Am checking out My Boys and Pretty Handsome. I checked out the review for these two shows. Pretty positive so far. Still it’s early to say, and I haven’t finished downloading the shows, will come back with an update once I’ve watched them properly.

Someone offered to burn me a copy of the entire first season of Reaper. It’s already playing on TV but I could never make an effort to stick to the schedule. I’ve heard mixed reviews about Reaper, but since I’m less discerning when it comes to TV, i wouldn’t mind giving this a shot. Apart from the fact that I am high and dry now that all my shows have gone on hiatus. :P

..have to come to an end recently, season finales etc. I know they’ll be back soon enough, but I need new ones to feed my TV fix and of course, fill up the spaces of my hermit-like life. :p

The recent finales I saw were pretty awesome:

• Grey’s Anatomy – probably the best season finale of GA to date! George will finally kick some ass, Meredith is benefiting from those therapy sessions, Christina got her mojo back, Izzie turned out to be right after all about Eva and Alex shows us his vulnerable side. Derek is one step closer to his dreams and McSteamy made way for a new love interest on the show. Steamy indeed..

• Desperate Housewives – Am I the only one who’s relieved to see how the Kayla/Lynette face off unfolded? Elsewhere, the 5-year fast forward left me like.. what the heck? Intrigued, but kinda annoyed too. I’m so not into crystal ball-like revelations!

• One Tree Hill – Lucas, she doesn’t love you, move on already! At least get a good book out of it! Brooding, heart-broken pretty boys are endearing only for so long.. And I wonder the fate that has befallen resident evil Dan Scott. Just desserts? Hmm..

• Supernatural – Dean in hell? Not if Sam has a say in it. Looking forward to seeing Sam unleash his supernatural mojo and save his big brother. And I bet Winchester Senior will be back too, not even being in the pits of hell can stop him, I’m sure of it!

• Gossip Girl – I didn’t like the finale. It’s.. safe. Give me a good cliffhanger any day. But seeing Blair kick Georgina’s @$$ was no doubt most satisfying. And Chuck Bass.. being Chuck Bass, as if that leaf would seriously turn! He’s more watchable being Chuck “the insufferably bad” Bass!

So, anyone who has recommendations on TV shows I could seriously sink my teeth into, feel free. Else, I’ll be doomed to watching reruns until Heroes and Dexter return!
