We live in Indonesia and I found out that Steve Vai was playing in Singapore on my husband’s birthday. He’s a huge fan so I Bought concert and airline tickets as a surprise bday present 4 him… Turned out that they were giving away aftershow passes too, so enetered the competition and won!!! My husband was so stoked….. Dunno how the hell im gunna outdo myslef for his bday next year… :)
What a nice guy Steve Vai is though…. Very down to earth, I was really impressed…

I think the coolest thing would be to actually be walking ‘round the streets of [some random city] and suddenly bump right into my favorite Musician/Composer/Arranger/Performer/Hero and say: “Oops sorry – ba nu ni ni na ni nu, ba nu ni ni na ni nu bdra da, ba nu ni ni na ni nu bdra, da di da!”
