as much as i sometimes want to reject it, it may just be inevitable that i need a master’s degree; this is partly because my brain is bored, but partly that i want more career options. so i added the ‘cv’ part to this goal in that i have to reformulate my ‘resume’ into a more academically-directed document in order to start applying for grad schools…gulp

i just realized last night that i have an idea for a media project. i figured i would never do it because i dont’ have access to the equipment, but my boyfriend does and he suggested that we could do the project together…that way i could use it for the portfolio! i think it would be a great opportunity to learn something like this, and he has the skills and the vision of how to carry it out.
i really really want to do this!
another idea that relates to my other degree/dreams of becoming an architect is sustainable design: i could research and sketch out ideas that i have related to that to add to my portfolio as well. woo!
I have been thinking a lot about going back to school sometime soon, and there are a lot of different things I want to do, some relating to my current degree, and some not so much.
I would like to do something creative, and whether I apply for a design program or a writing program, it would be good to have some semblance of a portfolio ready.
This has been on my general ‘to do’ list for a long time, and is something I should do for professional reasons. I should have a general portfolio of past accomplishments, activities, skills and interests, including a mission statement and list of goals.
Just putting it together will likely help to clarify for myself what I have done, and maybe what I would like to do next. I will make it presentable even if noone ever really sees it.
