I’d better start studying for it!

passed today, wasnt too hard really:D

What a relief – now I can book my practical and enjoy Xmas without having to revise. What an excellent pre-Xmas present.

I’ve put another 4 hours in since Sunday – mostly on Hazard Perception with a couple of mock theory tests thrown in. I am gradually getting the hang of HP – with an average score of 56/75 (from 44/75). I’m definitely not a natural, but at least I’m passing the benchmark!

I won’t have time to do my CD tests tomorrow as it’s our team Xmas partay, but will squeeze in a quick highway code read at lunch. Then 2 hrs Friday, 1 hr Sat morn and then the test!

Today. Going to do an hour a day this week. I’m worried about the Hazard Perception part as this isn’t clicking particularly well, but I hope that I can improve on this throughout the week.

I’m a third through my Theory Test CD and this the second time that I’ve done the tests.

I failed an online mock theory exam at the weekend, and unfortunately work commitments have prevented me from revising as thoroughly as I would like. The plan is to complete all the tests on the CD by Friday night (3 tomorrow, 3 the night after), read the Highway Code on Saturday between hospital visits and Xmas party, then spend a solid 3 hours revising again on Sunday.

Next week, I want to put in an hour a night, with Highway Code reading at lunch. My work Xmas party is on Thursday so zero will happen that night. All being well, I will be as prepared as I can be by Friday 19th.

I bought a DVD which contains lots of quizzes, highway code extracts etc and am working my way through it this week. So far, I’ve tackled 2 out of 12 of the theory sections and aim to complete all of these by tomorrow and then move to the Hazard Perception tests.

Once I’ve covered these, I will book a date for the actual test and keep on practising. Hoping to pass this by the end of the month and then onto my practical…

^{So I put doing my theory test on hold until I had done my Summer exams and my test is booked for the 22nd July, 2 days before I go on holiday. I’m actually quite worried about it =/ I don’t know why it’s apparently so easy. Maybe I should get the CD-ROM I bought out and do some practice…}

I’m all booked and ready to go for it tomorrow morning. I feel pretty prepared, the only thing that might screw it up is the bloody hazard perception test which I feel is a bit out of my hands because it’s so stupid.
