I swam this distance in the pool as part of my training – 100 lengths of 15M. This isn’t really the same as a continuous 1500M though.

To complete a full Olympic distance triathlon, I need to be able to swim the distance, and that’s 1500M. I’d prefer to do front crawl (freestyle), but even if it’s just breaststroke, as long as the time isn’t too embarassing time, that would do.
Remember, I have to be not too tired for a 40K cycle and a 10K run after the swim.
