(I decided to post this entry here that I wrote yesterday under “Master the guitar” so it’s not lost in a sea of other entries).
Yes! I am excited and hopeful after I just found a BBC News article which reads:
“Berlin police have appealed for information to help them establish the identity of a teenager who appeared in the city saying that he had been living in the woods for five years”.
“The boy said he and his father did not set up a home, but slept in a tent, and huts they found in the woods. Police say the boy claims he followed his compass and went northwards after his father died, reaching Berlin” – link here.
I have been playing with the idea for quite a long while now that if the situation arises in a few years where accommodation becomes a problem for me, I’m not near my desired skill level on guitar and end up having to get an unrelated, vapid 9-5 job to support myself, then I will instead go live somewhere like a forest for a few years. Hah.
There is no way I will let anything interfere with my music plans and goals. I have to invest so much into this in order for my plans to go as I intend. This is not just in regards to my very deep connection with music and strong desire to immerse and surround myself with it, but because becoming a famous musician is pivotal when it comes to providing opportunity for all my other goals, especially towards world peace. Anything for world peace. Becoming a famous musician – that part of it I have to adhere to.
I happened to be scouring the Internet earlier today before even finding the article in order to find suitable materials that might help with such a lifestyle. I have also done a lot of pondering and calculations on things like food, water, Internet access, electricity / solar power, hazards, researching tents (and insulation), etc. over the last year or so.
If it were to happen, it would not be until a couple more years and only for a few years. It’d be funny if I report back to you all on 43T, posting on my daily adventures in the forest in a few years’ time. xD Mostly though so I can continue practising guitar for many hours per day. I also have less ‘austere’ ideas about renting very cheap, shared accommodation, but I have to say though, the idea of living in a national park or something is way more exciting to me than the normal way of life.
As I say, I will make this work, no matter what. Only ALS or death can stop me.20 months ago
