restore my bicycle

My boyfriends mother forgot she had this flippin rad bike, but it’s in the worst condition. My goal for this summer is to get that thing restored and fabulous! I have A LOT of ideas for this bike, and I can’t wait to get started on it. Wish me luck, I’ve got til October! That gives me three and a half months. :)

I have done nothing for this goal. I’m hoping this summer changes that.

I’d almost forgotten about 43 things and I’m glad I didn’t. reading over my old goals has taught me a lot about how far I’ve really come as well as rekindling some old passions.
In that time I’ve actually completed one of my goals, my bike! It’s basically all finished: cleaned, sprayed “blaze red” and re-assembled! Now I just wish I had bigger handlebars and a bigger sissy bar, but I do love it!

I want to take apart, clean, and restore the bike I bought at the local swap meat.

It’s going to require some rust removal and touch-up painting, new reflectors (and tires soon), plus straightening out the fender on the back – but it sounds like a nice project. Something new and useful.

So far I’ve pulled it all apart and cleaned it all up, I just finished sanding it all down so its ready to be primed and sprayed blaze red!! I’m so glad I’ve found a hobby, and I can’t wait till I get a car!
