elliquidador will make a difference
well, i was long time doubting, because it’s always a matter of money, and since i’m collecting (and working with) the black gold of electronic music, it makes no sense (in my opinion) just to get some from time to time. it was in my case a decision between a digital style of playing and dj-ing and the old-school-way. i bought a final scratch last year and thought about it using only mp3, to save the money, but in march i started buying vinyl again (like i did some years before, when i got more bucks left), at first ‘just my sweetest and most-loved tracks’, but then it got my balls and i’m back in some kind of collecting the hardware… for me the final scratch now is just a tool to test new tracks, how i like them, how they fit into my style, etc., but finally i end up buying them on vinyl, because for me somehow it’s much more fun and feeling with the real ones, rather then juggling two timecodes around. so i can recommend it, i always liked vinyl much more then cds and i’m kind of happy to get back to a real collection in contrast to the kinky chaos of mp3 on my many harddrives.
in the last five months i got more then fifty records, an amount i can easily afford at this time without leaving me naked. this way i will go on… join saving the vinyl!! ^^
one negative aspect: i move into a new apartment next week, and i will hate to carry all this music, several hundred at all… sigh :P
