People doing this are also doing these things:
Entries
+ Runs North-South, first up Lafayette then up Park Ave, then up lexington at e51
+ Stops at: City Hall (Chambers St), Canal, Spring, Bleeker, St Marks, Union Square, E 23rd, E 28th, E 33, Grand Central (E 42), E 51, E 59 (even with central park), E68, E77, E86, E96, E103, E110 (end of central park)
Other info: traffic on even streets goes east
Need to start quizzing myself on this. Where different subway stops are, neightborhoods, etc
Things I know without having to look at a map:
+ The L runs along 14th street, stopping at 1st Ave, 3rd Ave, 4th Ave (Union Square), 6th and 8th.
+ Streets run East-West, and the numbers rise as you go North
+ Avenues run North-South, and the numbers rise as you go West
+ The avenues (and the city) are divided at 5th avenue.
it was years ago but i can still see the streets in my mind, and remember how to get from one place to another. one day i’ll go back and test it out
