lay on my back in a very large cathedral and just stare at the ceiling

it was even more wonderful than I imagined.

I did this in the chapter house of Yorkminster in York which was AMAZING, as well as in Fountains Abbey which was particularly interesting since its in ruins so the ceiling is mostly the sky. Absolutely beautiful.

It was just a bit too busy in St. Paul’s, although I almost laid down in Holy Trinity Church in Stratford as well. :)

has my (figurative) name on it. I am so doing this as soon as I return!
