    I finally managed to go for my run, and am I glad I did!

    My training plan actually had it scheduled in for Thursday (yesterday) however I ran on Wednesday, ooops, but not to worry; in fact it means I get more recovery time!

    I definitely wasn’t one of my best runs to say the least. It was very disappointing! Having not been running for a little while meant I should have took it easy, but me being me, got straight in there. I ran to quickly to start, had terrible problems with my breathing – something which I’m concerned about – and didn’t even manage to complete the distance I wanted.

    I’ve had terribly sore legs since, so yeah, a bad run in my opinion.

    On a positive note, my next session is Sunday and I’m looking forward to it. I’m definitely going to take it more easily and see how things go.

    At least I started the ball rolling!



    I'm a complete failure! 16 months ago

    How could I forget?

    Yesterday was the day, and yet I managed to some how forget! I got cooking, then started a movie and before I knew, it was far too late to go for a run.

    I’m really disappointed with myself, not only do I have this site as a reminder, but I signed up to a training site. How I forgot is a complete mystery to me!

    My next session is on Wednesday, and am going to try so hard not to forget!

    Tomorrow the adventure begins! 16 months ago

    I registered on this site which I think is really going to help me get through this goal. The site is Training Room, and by typing in a few details I’ve got a training plan, which if successful should have me running a half marathon by the end of 16 weeks!

    It’s really easy to use, and it even shows you when your next training sessions are within the calendar month!

    So tomorrow is the big day and I’m quite excited. It’s a very easy 10 minute run to start which I may just increase a little depending on how I go.

    At least with this site, I’ll be the most organised I have ever been when it comes to running! Plus I actually have a target so I’m hopeful it will all work out!
