run away for a few days without telling anybody

I want to run away just because my parents always yell at me. I know they love me and all, but I just need to get away for a while. Some place fun… :)

my idea of running away for a few days is to take a trip to Cumberland Island, camp there and then come back the next day. If the next day I feel like driving all the way to Jacksonville I will. It’ll be my first time and I’ll only tell 2 people. My companinon and my sister so she won’t worry while my parents are freaking out.

with 3 kids, a tiny apartment, a tinier budget, 2 cats(1 pregnant), and a 19 yr old out loose on the world and a job that just involves more cleaning—-you could say that this is quite the well-worn fantasy for me! if everything ever jelled one weekend i would be so OUT!!!

i just realized i did this last july… oh well, i want to do it again. perhaps to a sunny destination

Went with my best friend to her cabin in Park city. Spent 4 days hiking, kayaking, reading by a fire, and hanging out with some locals at the main st. bars. Perfect getaway. Didnt tell anyone or answer my phone while i was gone!

This seems impossible.

i have to do this, run away with the boyfriend for just a few days, it’s starting to be summer too! this is a perfect timing, his parents would freak hardcore though, but it’d just be so relaxing to me, just forget who you are for a few, sounds like a good deal to me :]

Sounds like a great idea. I’ve often thought about just legging it completely but I suppose a few days is a good starter. People would freak though. That’d be awesome.

During my undergrad days at the University of Texas, I left my apartment, friends and family for a week. Didn’t answer my cell or check my email….wound up in Santa Fe, Nm. Ha. Will never forget it. They thought I was dead, got a good bitching at. Totally worth it.

I think that it would be nice, to just walk out the door with out telling anybody, and walk for two days straight, without knowing where I am going or when I am going to stop.
