Rant & Rave

I worked for a tutoring center since April. I have shown up for my sessions each week without canceling any of them. I covered for other people when asked. I told my boss that I needed to take a day off 11 days ahead of time…she requires two days notice. She left me a message that said that my behavior was completely unacceptable and that I gave her short notice and that was supposedly our last session. She said she couldn’t get anyone to cover for me and that sessions were to be finished up that week so I couldn’t reschedule for the next week. I know this all to be bull shit. She’s power hungry or something. I have never had a boss tell me that anything that I did was completely unacceptable in my twenty four years of being a paid employee in all sorts of jobs. I’m really pissed at her and wish I could put her in her place.

An elementary school that I’ve worked in is substandard in both the curriculum offerings and the amount of space it has compared to the amount of children it has. I don’t know the square footage of the whole building but I know there are about 550 students K1-Gr. 5. I’m tired so I will need to write more later and explain my rant.
