I’m doing pretty good with this goal. I missed one day early in the week, but I have issues with routine and usually can’t remember to take a daily pill. This is the best I think I’ve ever done with something like this.

I’m not feeling great today – headache, upset stomach, fatigue. I’m not sure if it’s from the anemia or from hormone withdrawal after getting the Implanon out. We had our WIC re-certification appointment yesterday and they suggested that K start taking a chewable vitamin D supplement, so all three of us are taking vitamin D now. I don’t know if that has any side effects… I’ll have to Google it.

Yesterday I started my third period since May 4th. That, along with all of the spotting in between, is not helping with this goal. 2 years ago

I haven’t taken one iron supplement since my last post. I’ll go take one now… 2 years ago
I decided it was time to add this goal back to my list. When I was having health problems in April, the nurse at Planned Parenthood told me that I’m slightly anemic. I picked up an iron supplement the next day, but I haven’t been great about taking it and haven’t really given it much thought. Well that was dumb. I’ve been feeling shaky and weak for about an hour… it took me a bit to realize it was from the anemia, so I took an iron pill. That makes this day 1 of 56. I’ll make an appointment to donate blood after the 8 weeks so I can see what my iron level is and because I’ve gone too long with not donating due to health concerns. 2 years ago
