buy a TerraPass for my car

That was easy enough! Just ordered the “cross towner” TerraPass for my car. Now maybe I won’t feel as guilty for driving to work when it’s only a mile away from my house. I really need to get a bicycle but there aren’t any places to leave a bike at work.

I just bought my dad a gift code for a TerraPass. I added my own TerraPass on to the order. Can’t wait to get it!

I heard about TerraPass on the radio a while back. Every so often I think about it again. Now I have a permanent reminder for myself here!

There’s a tiny skeptical voice in the back of my head telling me this won’t do enough good. But maybe it’s the best I can do without an electric or biodiesel car.

I just bought my Terrapass. Yay for helping the environment!

Nobody got my a Terrapass for my birthday (oh well) but I still want one. I think I’m going to make it my Christmas gift to myself this year.

If you would like to contribute towards my Terrapass fund, you can donate online through Fundable. I have 30 days to get 9 more people to donate $5.

I have been very lucky and, for the past year, have had a 1.5-mile commute to work. I could walk or bike it (and really should!) and have gotten totally spoiled. However, I’m moving this month and my new commute will be 20 miles one way…I’ve asked everyone invited to my moving birthday party (a party where my guests help me load boxes and eat birthday cake and drink beer) to skip the gifts this year unless they want to make a small donation to my Terrapass fund. I would buy it myself but it’s not in my budget (see one of my other 43things…get out of debt). :P
