So I found a few more helpful sites for achieving this goal.

http://www.mermagica.com sells tails for, at the cheapest, $125. The tails looked really nice—it’s worth checking out. (My personal favorites were the Vamp and Super Adult tails, both around $135.)

Listen, people who have become merpeople. I desperately want to become a merperson. Why? Because I cannot stand my current form as a boring human. I’m just like the next person in the line. I need something that makes me different, both mentally and physically, and becoming a merperson would do that for me. Please, can anyone help me?

By the way, if you claim to be a merperson, provide me with proof. I have had enough of being dissappointed by stupid fake. If you are going to provide a picture as proof, don’t bother trying to use Google Images. If you do, I will know.

One final time I will make my plea to you. Help me become a merperson!

So I have two things to say in this entry.

The first is that a monofin is needed for the measurements for making a tail but I found some relatively affordable ones on amazon.com. Yes!! ^_ The reason why a monofin is needed, by the way, is because the monofin will be inside the tail, at the bottom by the fins. (I think this helps you swim in the tail or something, but I’m not exactly sure…)

The second is that I stumbled across this website: http://emilyangelfish.com/Mermaid_Tails.html . It’s got tails that are MUCH more affordable than the tails from FoxMoon Products. The least expensive is the basic tail, which is $189. The most expensive, which to my understanding is a tail that can be customized, is around $225.

The tails from Emily Angelfish even come with their own monofins, which I think is pretty cool, since I can’t remember if FMP’s tails did or not.

At the moment I still plan on making my own tail but I hope I can get a tail from Emily Angelfish.

No, I won’t try any silly spells to achieve this. You know they won’t work and those that say the spell worked are lying. (Or, at least, you should.) Transformation spells don’t work!

Ok. Now that that is out of the way here is what I’m going to do. I plan on making my own tail (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtwnOQg_KH8 ). This will be my first sewing project and I’m going to have some help. I’m 19 and I’ve wanted this since I was about 3 or 4. I put my mom through hell trying to find the perfect tail (one that I could swim in and wasn’t a dress), so I’m sure my finding the above video earlier this week was a godsend for her, haha.

I knew a person with a tail once (it was a costume and I think either zipped up in the back or had Velcro.) I never found out where she got it and lost contact with her. I also found a website where you could order a tail (FoxMoon Products, or FMP for short). They are expensive though—upwards of 200 depending on how you customize your tail. Mine would have been about $230). But I think I’ll have a greater appreciation of my tail since I’m making it and not buying it.

Another goal is to be a Weekie Wachee mermaid, but it’d be cool to be a mermaid for any entertainment-type place. This will take a lot longer though so I am just gonna focus on making the tail for now.

I apologize if I offended or insulted anyone but seriously don’t waste your time with those spells. Like I said, they won’t work.
