Cause she was a romantic :P
I don’t remember what it was, but I know I’ve written something to someone that made them cry. I don’t know if that can be considered ‘People’, but I don’t mind. If someone cried, then they cried.
Actually… I insulted another girl on MSN until she cried once… I thought she was out to get one of my friends. Anyways, funny story… We became friends and I fell in love with her for 3 years. I bought her a dozen roses each Valentine’s Day regardless if she was dating someone or not.
im writing a story for a college assignment, and i just started last night… it’s a poem, 5 stanzas with rhyming couplets (not intentional or anything, it just sounded right for the feel) and i read it to a friend and she started crying! she said it was powerful and moving… i got a bit of a shock, i wasn’t expecting it, but it was AWESOME!!!
I remember back in 7th grade we had an assignment where we chose a book title out of a hat or something and had to write a story based on the title. I got “The Lady or the Tiger,” and wrote a story about a kitten and some woman. My teacher wrote a note at the end of the paper with the grade (which was a good one) and she wrote that she cried when she finished reading it. For some reason it made me feel more accomplished, that me, a 13 year old kid could write something to make my teacher cry. I wonder if I’ve got it lying around with all my old papers and such somewhere…
My latest story brought tears to two of my readers. They had great feedback. I think I’ll keep this open and see if I can get it published.
I think I have about a year to go. Two are getting down low enough that I can pay them off with a single, last check. I’m looking forward to feeling free once again. . .
well, i’ve never met the one who cried and i didn’t know she read it. but still, you feel worthy. honored, perhaps.
technically, I’ve already achieved this…twice…but it feels good, really, to write something that really hits such a tender spot.
