and get this done. The holidays are the perfect reason for updating my address book.

However, I dread parts of this…removing friends and family members from my book who have passed away. Not that it changes anything, but I guess it just makes it all seem that much more real to me. Yes, I’m having issues with letting go and moving forward. I’m afraid of forgetting these individuals in some ways, I suppose.

This makes me realize I just need to find another way to ensure that I don’t forget them. I need to move forward, because like clutter, this will only hold me mentally in the past and that serves no one any good. And I don’t think that’s something any of those friends or family members would want.

Time to move on this goal. :)

I sat down and updated my contacts in Outlook last night. Now I just need to reprint the pages for my planner, so I have them wherever I am. Yes, I’m old-school. No Blackberry, iPhone or Palm Pilot for me. Technology malfunctions and my people are way too important to me. If I lose contact, it should be MY fault, not the Dingleberry’s. ;)

I would like to join you on this goal. You’ve worded this so perfectly. I feel that I am in the same situation right now and have been thinking (but not doing) a lot about this.

My hope is that sharing this goal with you will motivate me to sit down and organize mine!
