Elusive Sleuth life is awesome :)
They are looking into it. I receieved a very thorough reply from Daniel Spils. Thanks Robot :)

I sent the following message to the robots earlier today.
Here’s hoping we see some action :)
“I’m writing to you with regards to this goal (http://www.43things.com/things/view/2050386/let-the-robots-know-i-didnt-fail-just-because-time-ran-out). I completed a personal challenge awhile back and marked it done the day that the deadline was. For some reason it said I failed and I have found that I haven’t been able to change this.
Is this how personal challenges are supposed to work? Often, goals are completed a few days after the deadline due to unforseen circumstances. Is there a way for us to edit the deadline for a personal challenge?
Thanks, Elusive Sleuth”

has anyone here thought of inviting the robots to this goal?

has anyone heard from the robots on this?

I wonder if the robots know about the “failed” issue.
And I wonder if we are the only three who are getting the “failed” commnet on our challenges, or maybe no one else knows about them.
Hmmmm.

that I marked ‘Done’ the day the deadline was. Next second it said ‘Failed’.

sometimes things are just delayed -
and sometimes we are so busy doing things in the rest of our life, sometimes 43things a day, that we forget to mark our personal challenges as complete in the time we gave ourselves -
yikes !
I too see that the world is being told in big bold letters that I have failed things
Bad Robots!
:)
caiti awesomepants old enough to know better. too young to care.
thanks, john lee, for this idea.
i didnt fail this goal. and it kind of bothers me that it says fails. thanks for emphasizing that, putting it in bold and all. i didnt fail because we got our letters the week after i set this goal’s time to run out. i had earned my letter before i marked this off as done. i just didnt have it yet because our banquet was later.
