do work that I LOVE

This week I’ve realized how some of my work is too emotionally draining. That’s not the way I envisioned my life to be. My goal is to have something better lined up by June 2009, so I may transition out of some unsatisfying work.

I have come up with some ideas for new business opportunities. My goal to work on these ideas during January, and begin to advertise in February.

I had some time off, and I can honestly say I don’t look forward to going back to work on Monday. It’s time for a change!

My intention is to find a new source of income that is exciting and rewarding (financially and emotionally) by June 1, 2009.

I am currently transitioning into creating work that I love. I have come to realize that the conventional work structure (9-5 job, working for someone else) is not for me. I want to use my education and training in creative ways to share with the world. My goal is to put more time into developing my creative projects. Right now, I have various sources of income through work in my field, and my small business. I am satisfied and passionate about 20% of my work right now. A year from now, I hope my perspective will be different.

Last night, i had a great dream. I had the opportunity of a lifetime to study and work under an accomplished doctor. She was not within my field of work, but I was excited to be offered the opportunity. I felt so excited and happy.

I want to feel that excited and happy about my current work.

I am looking to do what I really enjoy. I want to find my niche and excel at it, and get paid well for my work.

I will make a concentrated effort this week to pay attention to the events, activities, and environments that make me the happiest and most productive. This is the key to creating work that I love.

My car wouldn’t start, and I had it towed. During my trip, I had a conversation with the tow truck driver. He has aspirations to become an actor. We talked about how important it is to do what you love, and follow your dreams. It’s amazing how we get the right message, just when you need it. I’m glad my car broke down today.

A really value a career that uses my organizational and creative skills. I also like to teach. I work in the area of education, and I do like parts of it. Other areas I can do without. I have a part-time supervisor job, and own a business. I am on the path to creating the work that I love.
