spend more time with my sister

My sister lives less than a half hour away. I NEVER see her. I take that back. I did see her the other night. In Wal-Mart. By chance. This is just sad and unacceptable.

I’m 22 and about to start my own family. My little sister Nika was born 6 months ago. She lives with my dad and his second wife in another country, and I’ve only seen her once. She’s the cuttest baby ever. I want to make an effort to visit them more often and spend as much time with her as I possibly can.

get to know her better, since I have time that shouldn’t be wasted at all.

Today my sister, my mom, and I will go out working on wedding stuff. I am looking forward to spending the time with them!

My sister got married about 2 years ago, and I’ve been living in Spain for the past 7 months, so I haven’t seen her in ages. She’s a couple years older than me but one of my best friends on the planet. Because we had such a bizarre up-bringing its impossible for anybody else out there to understand our strange neuroses and inside jokes. I will admit, we I am a very strange person but, it comforts me to know that there is some one equally strange who can understand why I am that way. I love my sister, she can make me laugh by doing the smallest thing, and make me feel better with just a hug. I’m going home in 3 months so I’ll get to see her then.

I love my sister. She is 15. I have been away from home for almost 5 years now…university ! And now, degree almost done and I’ll be back in Québec City. I want her to come and visit me. I want to take my role of older sister seriously ! And want to be friend with her !! See my sister on the picture above!

Well, I went yesterday with my sister and my mom to find a wedding dress for my sis. She found one and it was perfect on her! After that, she and I went out to dinner and talked about wedding stuff!

Every saturday morning, we go to Bob Evans, our favorite, for breakfast, then go where ever we want until I have to go to work at 5. It’s nice seeing her again. Especially at such an important time in her life. She’s a senior in high school and is working very hard to get into art school. She’s so awesome at everything she does, I’m so proud of her.

but we live so far apart (8000 miles). She’s gotten a baby daughter last year and I made it only once to see her. airfares are just horrible. but my new years resolution was to make it this year in September. I scraped together all my money (mom gave some), found a cheap ticket through www.dyrox.com (booked early), and will be at sis’s for 3 whole weeks. She was so elated that she’s going to come here next year!
