Visited a clinic close to home for an “initial consult”. Really liked the clinician there. She’s an RN who only does this one day a week. Ended up getting a first treatment done. Underarm + bikini for $250.

Next treatment is mid-May.

Went and had an “initial consultation” at a place that does this at a nearby shopping centre.

Seemed reasonable, but the personality of the chick doing it there didn’t make me feel 100% comfortable. I might try somewhere else as well. Personality and making someone feel at ease is important in a situation like this.

But anyway, for the record prices there were:

I’d totally rather get the laser treatment than waxing. Think of when you’re old and gray, and you still have to get the hair ripped out of your ass!! Laser is forever!! I heard one dr’s office offers laser brazilian, but I’m just not sure how far they can go with lasers!!! I’m saving my money though!! Laser hair removal is fantastic!! I finished a course of laser hair removal in my bikini area and I’m pretty happy with it. The hair is not 100% gone, but it’s soooo much easier to shave and I hardly get any razor bumps. I probably just have a stubborn hair type and may find a place in my new city to continue treatment. I thought it definately hurt, but so does waxing and razor burn, and this is semi-permanent.
