Own a Delorean

Why the hell not, right? LOL! i think this goal is alot more feasible than my other goal of one day owning a ferrari.. seeing how a decent delorean can be bought for around 15-18g, and a good quality will usually run you from 20-25g, and anything above that being low miles and show cars… For how neat these cars are, they seemed to remain affordable (in comparison to other classics).. If i ever get the oppurtunity to buy one, i really only have a few things on my “this delorean must have” list, which is :
1. It must not be painted.. stainless finish only!

2. Must be a manual tranny

3. Must not have any major cosmetic damage (brushed stainless is fun to repair… )

4. Must travel through time :) (what? i can dream right?) 11 months ago

You can get one for under $15,000 which is a bargain considering how cool the car is compared to other cars in that price range. Don’t worry about parts and repairs. The engine is a Pugeot-Renaut-Volvo Joint Venture engine (PRV-6) and is familiar to mechanics who work on Volvos. The other parts are also generally available by dealers in the secondary market.
