WoooahAilish finished reading Deathly Hallows today
I’ve been doing this ALMOST properly, not everyday, but every third or fourth, and I’ve noticed a HUGE improvement!

I’m not getting anywhere, purely as a result of lack of practice. Now that it’s summer, I really don’t have any excuses! Back to piano! At least 20 minutes every day from now on!

I practiced 6-7 times (for 30-45 minutes) in 10 days so that I would be ready to play the prelude and processional/recessional for a graduation last Saturday. For the prelude, I chose 4 songs that I used to play very well so they only needed some practice and polish. The only song that I had to learn was Pomp & Circumstance and, although marches are not my forte, executed it well.
Well, I have a grade 9 piano exam in June and I NEED to practice more. I practice about 3 hours a week and that is LAME.
I need to pick up the pace a bit. I hear they are marking hard this time around because they are bringing in a new system.
SO HELP ME GOD!!!!!
I can’t let myself forget. I love music, I love my flute as well – I know I have more time to do this at home. Even though I used to hate doing things that I couldn’t get – I remember playing a piece and screwing up over and over and over again – I know there have been times where I can play well, and I know that I can bring them back. Let’s see if I can get that old keyboard out of hiding (I don’t have access to an actual piano anymore).

I think practicing the piano becomes much easier when you have a piece of music that inspires you…that draws you to the piano, heart&soul.
I’m at that point where I’m happy to play once a week. hmm. I think I’ll do that now :3
I really want to practice each day for 1hr but I keep making excuses and not doing it. I am going to start with 30min each day and see how I go.
