and built lots of stuf so that Mike, Cisco, and Lynn could take with them out to the rendezvous at Fort Bridger. Well, not nearly as much of it sold as I was predicting. So, you know what that means? It means that I’m way caught up on most inventory.
I just have to finish all the stuff I have already cut. I have stuff cut for fire pokers, a few more sets of fire irons, and roasters. After that I still need to make a couple hundred tent stakes, and I can call this goal completed for now.

I don’t see any abundance of journeyman blacksmiths to work in my shop, so I’m going to have to build some jigs (this will go on my related goal #30 “make thing…”) to make some of the work go faster. This is frustrating sometimes, because I could sell much more work than I do, if I could only get more made. If I went on Ebay, I would make a killing.
I’m always behind on inventory, and rarely get to work on the other stuff. Anyone out there who wants to be a blacksmith’s apprentice and work their way up?

We have basic inventory that we have to keep in stock. this way we don’t have to make EVERYTHING to order. We can take special orders. We always seem to be behind though. We have GOT to get caught up enough on inventory so we can finish making our elvin arms and armor.
