Try out Celestia13's Magic Hair Potion

This was over rather quickly. I only used it for a couple of days, but my hair looked greasy and it made my head itch a bit. Perhaps if I could have lasted out a while longer things would have improved, but for now this is not for me.

I’ve been house sitting for the last two weeks and have been travelling between many different houses due to Christmas celebrations. I seem to keep leaving my hair things behind and since I am currently at home I decided to give this a try.

I’m missing distilled water, so I hope the regular stuff will be good enough. Also I wasn’t quite sure whether Celestia13’s magic hair potion was meant to be used in addition to or instead of shampoo and conditioner. From the description, I’m guessing it’s instead of. Celestia13 is MIA so I haven’t been able to ask. It seems like a silly thing to get hung up on, so I’m forging ahead. I guess I’ll see how it goes.

I think I have all the ingredients now. I managed to track down some Sage essential oil at a lovely stall at the markets. So now it’s just a matter of giving it a try once I get back from house sitting.

I give up…

I hope Celestia13 doesn’t mind me putting this up here, but ever since she posted about her Magic Hair Potion I’ve been interested in giving it a try.

I’ve had a bit of trouble tracking down the ingredients, however. I eventually found some Witch Hazel at a health food store, though only in small quantities which could be a problem if I decide I want to make this a permanent thing.

Sage oil has been impossible to find. A quick consultation with my dad’s essential oil dictionary indicates that this may be because Sage is quite a potent oil and that Clary Sage may be a good alternative. I guess I’ll try it and find out, once I get some.
