    I close my eyes but it’s never dark. Are the fireworks behind my eyes sparks from overzealous synapses firing? My brain burns right through the sleeping pills. I know I’m manic, but I don’t want to adjust my meds until my house is clean.

    Oh, it bites, my friends.

    The lack of sleep really kills your work potential.

    I now intend to devote 15 minutes of every day to meditation, in order to see if it helps me sleep.
