I managed a 4.0 in both the spring and fall semesters of 2012! The latter of which truly surprised me as I was sure Botany was going to pull me down, but somehow I pulled it off at the last minute.
Here’s to hoping for a repeat in 2013! :D 4 months ago

If I take 22 credits in the Spring and I get a 4.0, it’ll bring my GPA up a good bit—to 3.647 which is roughly where I need to be.
I wan’t to try and graduate with honors and the only way to do that is to get my GPA up and keep the darn thing there!! 5 months ago

I’m pretty nervous. I don’t think I did that great on the final exam for calc. I know I studied every topic thoroughly, even some topics that didn’t show up on the exam, but in the end, there were 3 tricky questions that I couldn’t get. They total 50 points, out of 200, which is a bummer. It’s not that they weren’t fair, I suppose, but they test whether a student can be clever and good at puzzles rather than if he/she is knowledgeable about the given material. There will be a curve for both the exam and the final grade, but I’m not too hopeful about an A. In the end, though, I thought I did a very good job this semester, considering how I usually give up in math classes. I guess I can never get that ‘fine’ grasp on the material that would allow me to solve clever problems. 13 months ago

So surprise, surprise.. I didn’t do that well on my second math exam. I expected a high B or low A (I got a 97 last time, I guess I was over confident) and I got an 81. This reflects poorly not only in grade terms but on how well I mastered the material. I think my downfall was that I didn’t bother picking diverse problems to create my study guide from.. I should have looked at past exam problems like last time. The final exam is coming up in 3 weeks and I want to absolutely master all of the topic in this course. By the time I’m in calculus 3, I don’t want to be playing catch up and lagging behind like the first part of this semester. Being math-minded is supposedly one of my distinguishing traits in my field after all.. 14 months ago

I’m pretty much set for my human evolution class – A’s on 2 exams, A’s on labs, and 2% extra credit on top of it all. I’m not worried about my Russian course – I don’t know my grade exactly, but my midterm grade was an A and I have been consistently doing well on homework and tests. Math, I’m not sure about – A on first exam, but I haven’t received back my second exam yet. One I get back that exam (If i did well), I think I can safely say that I will get an A there too. 14 months ago

How I did it: i had to get better grades to keep my laptop.
It wasnt really hard..
you just have to do your classwork && homework, and
just pay attention in class. Just keep aiming higher && you'll eventually get it (:

and I’m not doing as great as I’d like. We’ve had some homework that took quite longer then I expected and we have a test today. Hopefully I do well enough to be able to pull myself out of this little rut I’m in. I need to get myself into gear and work harder. 2 years ago

I’m taking two classes over the summer. I want A’s in both of them! Both of the classes are considered weed out classes for my major so I will need to stick it out and put in a lot of time and effort. 2 years ago
