Take part in a Taproot volunteer project

Taproot seems like a great volunteer organization. They put professionals together to form teams on short term projects for charities. I’ve done a lot of volunteer work in the past- at times I have felt like there was so much more the org could get from me if only they had the structure and know how in place to tap into my skillset.

I submitted an application and samples of my work to Taproot (they screen their volunteers.) Everything is a “go” after I take an orientation which is being held next month. Then I will be able to find a project and be teamed up with other professionals who have complimentary skillsets and we’ll kick some boo-tay for a local charity. cool.
