buy a piece of fine art

And I have to say it looked so much better in the large, white spaces of our offices rather than in my basement flat…

I’m gonna live with it for a couple of weeks, but I don’t think it’s for me…

To look at my hallway. She’s someone I met through work and I really like her stuff. She’s going to have a look and tell me what might be right for the space. We’ll see what happens. V. exciting!

Some friends brought their 18 month old over and she knocked it over, shattering it into 1000 pieces. THat’ll teach me to leave things within reach of a small child. God, I hate myself for that.

THis year, if I get a bonus, I’m going to buy a Martin Parr print. I’m very much looking forward to it. Fingers crossed we make our targets.

I bought this painting from the lovely miss Suzanne Clements. It was not one of her paintings, sadly. She is moving and is trying to cut down on the amount of stuff that she is taking with her. I ending up getting a painting that a friend of hers had painted. It’s lovely, is it not? Whenever I get the money to spend, I will be buying one of hers, too.
