practice french

I started listening to french podcasts on my way to school this morning.
Also french music and I have been speaking a bit more with family.

Whenever I stop speaking French, I forget it a little. When I do speak it, I remember it lots.

I am learning Jacques Brel’s song Ne Me Quitte Pas. It’s part of another goal (sing more songs in foreign languages) but it’s helping me practice French. Not easy for me to sing in French!

Nina Simone, Sting and a few others do versions of Ne Me Quitte Pas (Don’t Leave Me, or If you Go Away)

I did my 300 level french from ALLIANCE FRANCAISE

Okay, time to start practicing.

i speak it rather decently. i know enough to get around. but i need someone who i can speak it with so that i can become better.

...I should join the circus with the rest of the clowns. I know that should have turned me off French, but I love telling that story and I still love French. Studied for my final in a bar and got a good grade :) But aside from some US travel through international hostels, never really used it. Wouldn’t mind immersing in Paris at some point….

...speak it fluently, as opposed to practice it.
