learn Mexico's history

Although I currently live in Guadalajara, Jalisco I originally come from Durango, Durango, Mexico. One of the most historical sites in Mexico. It has an antique Pancho Villa feel to it. Many movies are filmed there, most of the John Wayne movies were filmed there. The picture is of the largest cathedral in Durango, it’s quite impressive on the inside.

It really is quite amazing. There are so many people, traditions, ways of living. I’m finally starting to really appreciate my background and who I am. Una orgullosa Mexicana!

a way to pay respect to my culture. I am Mexican after all. It is such a beautiful culture but many people seize to accept it. Mexico is in a major part very different from what people depict it to be. It can be quite marvelous.
