figure skate

I don’t want to get into competitive skating or anything like that. Actually I did. I used to watch this sport on t.v. and YEARN to be able to skate. But that dream has died for many reasons. Firstly I live in the Caribbean… lol (no skating rink here).

Now all I want is to do this just ONCE. I want to go to a rink and put on those skates and let the wind guide me. I really love it so I’ll settle for once (but I want to have pics and videos clips of it) so that it can last a life time!!!

I took lessons for three years (in junior high…AGES ago). It was really fun, but I was never in it for serious competition. I got up to Freestyle Three where you start spinning and jumping and getting to the really scary stuff. I was very chicken and ended up quitting. It’s something I’d like to do again. Not competitively, but it was so much fun. I know my first time back on the ice will be embarassing, as I will fall on my face/knees/ass a lot! Ah well, what else is new? :)

I spent 20 years of my life dedicated to this sport. I’m glad that I left it behind & pursed another career though as you only live once & my life experience has rapidly expaned since! I love the sport & have no regrets.

Starting lessons in January!

I figure skate regularly. it is my favorite thing to do. Its an awesome sport. one of my favorite parts is the people ive met. they are amazing people. they make me laugh, and when im sad they help me feel better. I love them with all my heart.

I am a figure skater at Juvenile level (Just got there!) and I just ADORE this sport! I cannot imagine a life without it!! Recently I got my double axel and I am sooooooooo happy! My coach said I will be starting the triple salchow soon! I am very excited.

Ok, I am SOOOOO in Love with the sport figure skating. I love EVERYTHING about it and one day I decited to take some lessons. So my mom signed me up and since the first day me and my mom noticed some major improvment on my skating skills. That shows it’s NEVER to late to start on pursueing your dreams.
~My skating dream is to at the minimum just take lesson antill I am good enough to skate pretty much like a figure skater and do a solo on the ice…as a sabah guess. (When I was younger I was in sabah) (And I could barrly skate)

I used to skate competitively, I want to get back into it. It was so fun, and the exercise benefits were great too.
