wasatchwandererOh Yeah!
What wonderful opportunities! Business travels have sent me all over the country, and at first the objective was to get to all the states. Once that was accomplished, I was still traveling so I picked another list of things to do if I happened to be in the neighborhood. Once I found out there were 58 national parks, that was a lot like states, and seemed reasonable :-).
For those who view “park bagging” as elitist, that’s silly. I travel, I’m in the neighborhood, and I prefer not to hang out in the hotel bar. Having a goal gave my travels a bit more purpose, and when we did plan a personal vacation, it was easy to decide where to go. We’d pick a park we had not visited in an area I was unlikely to get business travel, and off we’d go.
Still travelling, but no new lists for now because I found out two very important things. 1) I could spend a lifetime playing in our national parks and 2) where there are national parks, there are very often other really cool thing and I could spend a second lifetime checking those out! 7 months ago
