How I did it: When public enemies came to Chicago for filming my friends and I kept going to the set. We would wait outside for hours, sometimes all night with tons of other fans all waiting for him to come out after the work day and sign autographs (which he did almost every time). We started hanging around basecamp where his trailer was and became friends with the crew. They had nothing to do all day so they loved flirting with us ;) We just hung out,had fun, and met so many new people. It got to the point where people from the crew would call us and let us know where basecamp was going to be the next day! We befriended Johnny's driver, and even his bodyguard Jerry. This experience was just the most interesting and fun thing that has ever happened to me. Some of us even made lasting friendships, like my best friend, who is now dating and living with Christian Bale's driver. I would have never pictured something like this happening to me. It took a lot of time, determination, driving, and camping out in the cold but it was WELL worth it. By the way, we met Johnny not once, but twice, and he even specifically asked about us :)
Lessons & tips: It will take a lot of waiting time. If you find out one of your favorite celebrities will be in the area, jump on the opportunity. Also, be friendly and talk with EVERYONE. If the crew members like you then they will keep you on the inside loop. Also, most fans will hang around set and sometimes don't get a chance to say hello. However, if you find all the trailers, thats basecamp, and thats where you should hang out. Be respectful, don't act like a crazed fan, and follow the rules. Oh! Another important thing is that sometimes the crew will tell everyone to go home because he's not coming out today. If you really want to meet him, I suggest you stay anyway because the crew likes to spread rumors like that, and he almost always comes out anyway. So, don't give up on someone else's word! This will earn the crew's respect, and that information gets around. Johnny almost always came out to see the people outside basecamp because it's a smaller crowd and well...its RIGHT there! Also, the celebrities more often than not will go to and from set in an unmarked SUV. I hope this helps anyone meet whoever they've been wanting to :)

He must be one of the most attractive and fascinating people on earth. What I wouldn’t do to meet him and have a conversation with him. What makes him so cool is that he’s kind of shy and introverted but yet so warm, friendly and funny. That’s a good combination in my opinion. and more importantly; He’s an AMAZING actor!
annoying at best..she means well….but she just never stops talking…... so, to be polite, and not tell her that she annoys me…I simply say…”Hey Michelle, I didn’t rub my hand up and down my Johnny Depp pic that is hanging in my cube”

So being a girl from San Diego, California, you would think that I would always make it to Comic Con, ever year. Well, the truth is, I can’t always go every year. It just gets too crazy and I really don’t feel like wrestling through crowds, running toward exhibit halls to make it to next panels, etc. Besides, I don’t have access to the “Industry” pass anymore that lets you cut in line to get in in the mornings. Yes, it was the coolest thing ever, but let’s get down to business:
I missed my chance to at least SEE Johnny Depp yesterday. I was home sick of all places when my fiance calls and says that Tim Burton, during a panel at Comic Con 2009 called for his “imaginary friend” to come out. Low and behold, it was Johnny (sigh). There would have been no way to meet him, I didn’t even have a ticket to get in and wasn’t going to pull the local stint: Pay an exiting kid for his day-badge out. Oh well.
Dillinger…....Public Enemy…..I must be honest here….saw the original Public enemy movie with James Cagney…..thinking, I am going to intelligently watch this movie, and weigh the performance based on acting…nahhhhhhhhh. who am I kidding…...I never thought to say..shut up and just lay there…to Cagney
Well, he is my favorite actor and I love so many of his move like: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Edward Sissos-hands, Corpse Bride, definitly Pirates of the Caribbean all 3 and I hope the 4th is going to be good but my favorite is Sweeney Todd. And thats why I want to meet him.
It would be amazing to meet Johnny Depp, a man who appears intelligent and charming. But lets face reality it will never happen in this lifetime. If he was not a celebrity would any of us care so much to meet him?

Don’t you hate when a new manager, attempts to motivate his new staff, with quotations, from famous people? Always, right before his signature, on the email, that politely tells his staff they are by far the laziest employees he has yet to meet..there’s that inspirational quote….”No one was ever a success, without failing..failure is not trying at all.” than his signature…these always confuse me…His he trying to say, my failure will led to success, or will I never succeed because I am a failure?
Now, if his inspirational message to me was “Leanne, Johnny Depp’s airplane has landed at Pittsburgh International Airport, and the ink is dry on your divorce papers”....I might be inspired..maybe not work inspired, but inspired all the same!
