Be an extra on Law & Order

My sister has been a “background artist” (extra) on these shows a few times. SVU mostly. She met and chatted with Jerry Orbach during her first visit to the set. I envy her, since he was pretty cool as Lennie Briscoe.

I’m wondering if LAW & ORDER will be on the air much longer? There’s been rumblings about ratings and expense. Worst of all, even if I got a part on this show, I’m not crazy about the current cast. Dennis Farina was great, but the cover-model detective just isn’t cutting it. And McCoy’s new ADA … Nah.

I either want to be that chick that stumbles across some dead body in a dark alley in the very beginning of the episode, or that girl in the jury box with the “I’m listening very intently to everything the ADA is saying and am very concerned about justice being done” face.
