It’s a continual thing, ya know? I mean you could improve your drawing skills in a day just by practicing. Each time you practice you get better.
How I did it: I just drew every day and looked at drawings and eventually I started drawing better. Or maybe it was a miracle, I don't know. Either way it was very gradual. One day I just realized how mcuh my drawing had improved, and I even got a comment on it.
Lessons & tips: Don't give up!

i want to get better at realism and drawing people. i am currently taking an art class at school and i might take some classes outside of school too. for now i guess i will use reference pictures to get the basics of human anatomy right but in the near future i’d like to stop relying on references and be able to draw from my head.
Scratch paper has been my best friend in every case of boredom I’ve had. An hour later, it usually consists of single eyes, stick people, and smiley faces.
They may look pretty, but I really want to learn how to draw details in clothing, people, places, etc.
So instead of eyes, stick people, and smiley faces, I’d much rather want to end the day with my paper illustrating a beautiful city :D

I’m trying to get into animation, but I’ve got a ways to go to improve how I draw. I’ve been trying to draw everyday… Well, really mostly just tracing established styles, since when I get into the industry, I’m going to have to adapt to other people’s designs anyway.
Cursed_Angel is studieng japanese
It’s been 6 years since the last time I drew something, and recently I had this urge to start and draw once again, so I thought about improving skills in anime and manga drawings sometimes soon (which is maybe after I’ll finish my Japanese and around the time when I’ll start with C++).

I can doodle, I can color, but I want a finished piece, that somebody’s gonna go “You drew that?”.

i’ve mastered doodleing, but i want to learn how to draw beautiful pictures that’ll make people say, “You didn’t draw that”
