I enjoyed this experience. Walker Art Center is a modern art museum, and the purpose of the installation was to have an environmental theme so the holes (some more loosely than others) were to educate the golfers on “green” topics. We would have liked to see this aspect be more deep. Also, and I say this appreciating the fact that this was an art installation and the Walker is not a mini-golf business, it was annoying that there were woodchips for walkways rather than block or something and they got tracked all over the holes. The price was steep ($8 for 7 holes or $12 for 14 holes) but I’d say worth it. And heck, you don’t know if you don’t go. Plus, my BF then got to experience the sculpture garden, which he’d never seen. Any self-respecting Minnesotan has to have seen the spoon and cherry! Nice day.
