...at the local public library on Friday! Woohoo!

...could see me finally accomplishing this goal as I’ll be doing a Federal Work Study Job on campus when I transfer to McDaniel. They’ve got quite a few library positions open. ;)
I’m increasingly getting the feeling that this is what I want to do. I love books, I love reading, I love helping and advising others, I love working with people. It just seems like it would be a good match. Will add this to my list and start researching it as a career.
I can not believe only five people have this goal on their list! Ever since I was little I wanted to work in either a library or own my own bookstore. Being surrounded by books all day long sounds like the perfect work environment to me. I love the atmosphere in bookstores and libraries, I can spend hours there walking around or sitting and reading.
However, I am afraid that working in a bookstore or library will rob me of that special feeling I get going there; if I spend 8 hours a day, 5 days a week there, maybe I’ll get used to being there and the magic will slowly fade. Maybe going into one in my free time will feel like going into work.
On the other hand, that exhilirating feeling I get entering a library or bookstore might last and I might get that feeling every day, just by being at work!
I do wonder.
