How to go skydiving"Absolute terror and absolute exhilaration at the same time... ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"
How I did it: This one's been on my 'list' since I was a teenager and, with another birthday coming up, I decided to tentatively suggest it to a couple of friends who were coming to visit for my birthday weekend. Think I secretly hoped they wouldn't say 'yes' but one said a hesitant but definite 'yes' and before I knew it we were booking and then paying and then up in a tiny plane and then (somewhat sooner than I'd expected) free falling from 14000ft towards the ground at 200km per hour! How I did it: It turned out as a surprise from my wonderful bf! On my 21st birthday he took me skydiving!!! I was never in a rush to go skydiving, although it was always on the back of my mind...that one day I'd like to. But had I known what a blast it is, I would have gone right away! For days, maybe even weeks, after the first dive, I'd be driving and would look at the sky wishing to do again- such nostalgia! I cannot wait to do it again! Read how I did it…
How I did it: 1. Get a friend. 2. Find the closest place. 3. Make a reservation, set a date. 4. Go do it. 5. Do not back out!I found it helpful to have someone to hold me accountable, like, yes we're going, of course we are. It was fun jumping out with her as well. Close your eyes, don't forget to open them! Read how I did it…

just discovered my uni has a freefall society, I’ve emailed them for details and am HUGELY excited. initial training costs LOADS though, about 235 quid, although a friend from a different uni said as part of her freefall society she got it for 170. hopefully if i save christmas money and some wages, i’ll be able to pay for it and get me thrown outta some aeroplanes! woot!
My wonderful father is going to go skydiving with me in San Diego when I graduate. :D My mom told me a story about when they were on vacation recently and he was telling people about our plans to go bc he’s excited. How cute is that, I love my dad.
Intense and used for training
I can see why.
