    Hit the road across Texas to go visit friends and relatives in Louisiana…a long trip…but highlighted by our favorites stops…picked up a new map at the travel center in Whichita Falls.

    It was beautiful. There are parts that are more enchanting than others. I haven’t been past Santa Fe in a long time…Oh my it has undergone quite a bite of development…Back in the old days (10 or so years ago) there were tents on the side of the road for gambling…Bingo? and Camelrock?...it was odd…now there are these huge glaring Viva Las Vegas Indian Casinos…somewhat incongruous…

    Well we got past all that and stayed out on a mesa near the moon and the stars…Twas lovely
