littlehobbit sings away the blues
Childhood regression and past life regression plus healing for each item has worked wonders – few recent tries are chicken kiev, burritos, carrots and lasagne. Yay me!

How I did it: ignored other people when they tried to force me to try stuff, researched hypnotherapy, researched my condition on the internet and found out it was called Food Neophobia or Selective Eating Disorder (S.E.D), tried foods similar to things I already like. Read how I did it…

bootgirl starting her 43 things list
“S” and I are going to a new restaurant tomorrow morning for breakfast. And it isn’t FAST FOOD.

This will be a difficult one. First, my kids are super picky (see the next goal). Second, my hubby likes to stick to what he knows. I like to try new things, but don’t get the opportunity very often. Maybe I’ll start with once a month? I’d like to try indian, meditaranian, etc. I’d also like to expand my italian & mexican choices.
Gopher wishes on shooting stars that I will stop tripping over my own feet!!
Baklava – not yummy
Creamy tomato & Roasted red pepper soup – DELICIOUS!!! MMMMM!!
Spaghetti squash – not yummy
Taziki sauce (sp?) – not yummy
Chicken souvlaki – Very yummy

Recently had a conversation with a coworker about his wife’s stuffed bell peppers. Difficult to conceal the fact that I’m not big on bell peppers, and haven’t tried a large quantity of things.
I eat the same foods all the time. I literally have the exact same breakfast and lunch 5 days a week, with only minor variations on dinner. Need to mix it up a little!
... the out of the ordinary foods for me which I have consumed are: calamari (which is good with lemon juice freshly squeezed on it), sushi(real sushi not fake),Curry and Tofu (not a big fan). Jerky: Alligator and kangaroo. Kangaroo=gross, Alligator= not bad. Oh, I forgot. A girl I know insisted one day that I try an asian red bean popsicle.I thought it would be ridicolously gross but found out that I also like them.
it was pretty good, and apparently i should also try fried zuchinni because it’s a similar thing.
although i do kinda feel as though it was cheating because it was so fried and starchy….
at cafe 360 again today, one of the things we got was this appatizer which was basicly tortias with a hummus dip.
it was pretty good. the weird thing was eating it and not having any ideal whatsoever what it was made from.
but overall it was pretty good :)
russbuck100 can see a few goals being completed soon :D
Tried a lot of foods whilst in Hungary, including paprikas-krumpli cooked in a bogracs on an outdoor stove-type piece of equipment, lots of Hungarian soups and stews, including a babgulyas (bean-goulash) which was absolutely beautiful! Also tried some new drinks, including home-made palinka (made with plums I think) and vilemoskoeter (I don’t know how to spell it, but it’s like pear flavoured palinka), unicum, and Hungarian lager (Dreher) – all of which were very nice indeed!
