buy more fresh flowers

I bought a bunch of flowers at the farmer’s market. I can definitely notice their fragrance and enjoy having them in my room to brighten things up. I plan on doing this more often.

Bought some flowers yesterday and have them in a jug in the dining room. Then a few minutes ago a friend came over and brought me some fresh flowers as a thank you. So now I have flowers in two rooms and the house looks lovely!

Which was, well, none. I’m still working on my skill at actually arranging said flowers, but I’m getting better at it.

Now, to buy more vases.

and will continue to do so.

I had a super stinky day today—decided I needed a treat. I bought 6 Pink and 6 Orange tulips today. They look gorgeous!!!

and in to the month of february. we have 4 vases or pots of fresh flowers in the house right now. I didn’t even tell my Mr. that i wanted to do this more it just happens like Karma. We will continue to get new flowers weekly from the shop , until my garden comes in. then it will be my own cut flowers brought in to the house.

the whole house is perfumed!

Potted Hyacinth,White.they are just now blooming,the scent is profuse,a hint of spring to come.

i’m getting a dozen roses for my mr this week end.one of each color that i can find. before the Red rose rush on tuesday.He will be so surprised!

...because I have a brown thumb but still want foliage in my house.

We get them at the market and my daughter is typically the “chooser-outer” of which flowers we’ll be getting.

The kicker? Her thumb is WAY more green than mine cuz the fresh cuts she choses always last longer then the ones I tend to pick out.

Oh, and put two drops of bleach in your vase to eliminate mold and any smelliness.
