re-learn how to play the piano

I had piano lessons when I was 10 or something and stopped, then after 6 years I started to play again. I’m not that good but I have learned part of songs I love.
Luckily, I’m getting piano lessons again at the end of the year. Yay for me! Piano for me is the most beautiful musical instrument.

i now play every time that i come to visit my parents :) loving it. finally no one else tells me what to play and how to play and to play every day for two hours, i’m choosing my own pace and my own program.

I took piano lessons twice, as a child and teen, but I couldn’t stay focused. I would like to learn that. I am always singing and humming, but can’t produce anything… lol.

I have a very stressful career and found myself not doing anything for ME. I recently purchased an electric piano (after selling my acoustic 2 years ago) and plan to re-learn how to play and create a hobby that is just for me!

While I still have the basics, I’m shooting to be able to improvising and playing-by-ear. Hopefully I’ll get the time and the piano to play some Yiruma and Something Corporate.

When I was younger I used to have piano lessons every week, but I gave them up to learn Tae Kwon Doe (which is incidentally not worth it.) Anyways, I’d like to learn to play again someday.

My first step is accomplished and I actually have a piano to play now. So far, I have been practicing every day. It is hard to convince my fingers to do the right things, but I seem to be picking it up again much more quickly than I would have expected. Next step: practice, practice, practice.

I am new to this site…anywayz, I want to re-learn how to play the piano. I used to play it when I was younger and then I started Guitar, once I got good at that, I stopped. I seem to have trouble with following through with things. This fall I am going to take Piano and Soccer. When I learn the piano, I want to learn sad songs, not those up-beat ones. Why, because the sad songs sound better :) at least to me.

i have moved the keyboard from a cupboard into my bedroom, and set it up on a stand. all good steps. if i can just find the cord i’ll be off and away.
does anyone know of any good websites for cord charts, scales, etc, just to get into the basic stuff?

well, I will leave it here as a goal, but in halt…I am not so motivated now…but will like to do it someday.
