write letters to my sponsored sister in Kosovo

but couldn’t finish a paragraph. I went to the Women for Women International website to read some other letters for inspiration. I admire people who can write heartfelt, inspiring letters.

a few weeks ago there was an interesting article about Women for Women International. I looked them up on Charity Navigator and they have a 4-star rating, so a recognized “good” charity. I signed up to sponsor a “sister” and was paired with a young woman from Kosovo. Monthly donations support her enrollment in a year-long program to cultivate leadership skills, rights awareness, voc-tech skills, small loans – whatever is needed to help “regain her strength, stability and stature after war.” It can take up to 3 months for correspondence to reach her.
