How to read Hamlet all the way through
"Hamlet is a complex tragedy wherein the hero overcomes doubt but is in the end overcome himself by the consequences of his madness."
How I did it: I started reading Hamlet in the train, from an anthology of English literature. I read Act 1 on the train, and then proceeded Monday to read through Tuesday the rest of the play.
Lessons & tips: I made some use of Cliff's Notes and No Fear Shakespeare's Hamlet. However, if you don't try to read the original, you certainly lose something in translation.
Resources: Cliff's Notes
No Fear Shakespeare. (Shakespeare side by side with plain English).
