I think if myself as a religious person but lots of the time i don’t realize that God is talking to me until it’s to late. I want to hear him loud and clear like many of the members of my church.

IT REALLY WORKS! 3 years ago

Today I stand before my God amazed (yet again!) at His grace and gifts and…and…I could go on and on. I’ve taken a course on how to hear God speak. Phenomenal doesn’t begin to cover it.

How do I know it’s God? Because I know that I know that I know that I know. Yep. That’s it. No levitating. No trips to Heaven. No “proof”. I know. And for me, that’s good ‘nuff.

    Definitely! 4 years ago

Be still and know I am God.

    This was life changing.

Romans 4:16...NLV and The Message 4 years ago

So God’s promise is given to us because we put our trust in Him. NLV

This is why the fulfillment of God’s promise depends entirely on trusting God and His way, and then simply embracing Him and what He does. The Message

Trust. Faith. Love. Enigmatic necessities shrouded in opaque brilliance carrying a price infinitely greater than the finest gems. In their purest form these elements are desired by all, attained by some, and elusive to so many.

They seem so far away, so unattainable, but if you close your eyes and quiet your mind, you feel the warm drops of brilliance splash on your tender skin and you open your mouth to taste the sweet nectar of peace. Suddenly hot tears stream down your cheeks as you recognize yourself as their jailer.

So long you stood guard at the door, keys tightly clenched in your fist, imprisoning abundance to the nth power. But you stood by so afraid – so fearful of their bounty, so aware of the risks. You felt so powerless with them leading you into the abyss, so you denied their calling and locked them away to gain control once again – only now you truly are powerless.

Aaaah. The sweetest sound... 4 years ago

Destiny. Fate. Blind, stupid luck. Who truly knows?

    Things I truly know:

    • My gut instinct comes from somewhere
    • The RIGHT path is well lit
    • Love feels better than hate
    • Honesty is easier
    • Helping others pleases me
    • I’m drawn to places where my soul is HAPPY
    • I possess talents in areas I enjoy
    • Today is a gift
    • Compassion, gratitude, kindness, and giving take me further than deceit, intolerance, and closed mindedness
    • Everyone deserves one chance
    • Serving a higher purpose (community, country, etc.) enhances perspective
    • Biblical principles of life application make sense
    • I only get ONE ride

I have no idea if I should turn left, right, or just turn the blasted car around, and floor it. No one issued me a life map. So now I’m left with choices, which lend themselves to decisions, that ultimately result in faith.

Faith in a better tomorrow. Faith in a safe place to land. Faith in a guiding light. Faith in an all-knowing Mapkeeper holding my itinerary before Him, ready to send me to my next destination, and waiting ever so patiently for me to just listen.
